Most drivers have had days where they find themselves getting angry by traffic, the others are driving, or just being on the road in general. However, it’s never easy to keep your cool when someone on the road with you is driving recklessly or being rude. That was exactly the situation when one New Jersey driver caught his own road rage on video.
The TikTok video posted by @King.fy03 would start off with the altercation already underway, and with that being said, it is unclear as to why the person in the blue car is so upset. However, they can be seen making very rude hand gestures out of their car’s window, directed at the New Jersey man behind the camera.
New Jersey Man Calls Out Fellow Driver In An Entertaining Way
The text on the screen reads, “No respect out here,” referring to the other driver’s behavior. The man recording can then be heard telling the camera, “This guy in the Nissan is driving like a reject.” The man in the blue car allegedly cut the person recording off in traffic as well. He even compares the way the guy in the blue car is driving to a superhero as he states, “This guy thinks he’s Batman.”
As the TikTok video goes on, the driver is certainly not happy with how the person in front of him is driving, and he is letting that be known. At one point, he even claims that if he were a police officer, he would have pulled this driver over already.
Yet, as the video continues, he can be seen trying to pass other cars on the shoulder, as well as swerving in and out of lanes. Although as the man behind the camera puts it, he’s “In a rush to go nowhere.“
TikTok reacts To The Man’s Hilarious Roadway Commentary
The comment section also had a lot to say regarding this encounter, as well as the man’s commentary. With many users rushing to leave behind their own thoughts and jokes. “This guy’s driving a Nissan like it’s a Porsche,” joked one. Another pointed out, “There are so many legendary one-liners in here.” Someone else then wrote, “Man, I love people from New Jersey.” Finally, one last person’s comment also read, “People are calling this the most New Jersey video of all time.”
The video comes to an end as the New Jersey Man catches up to the blue car and pulls up behind them in the left lane. At the end of the day, all of their rude gestures, passing, and reckless driving didn’t even get them very far ahead of everyone else on the road.
Have Drivers Been Arrested Following Road Rage Altercations?
Unfortunately, road rage has become very common. Just last week, an Arkansas man and his roommate were attacked during a road rage incident in Tennessee. The men, working as a DoorDashers, were seriously injured during the altercation, per WREG.
On Oct. 12 a Texas man was arrested for throwing rocks at another vehicle, shattering windows and causing thousands of dollars in property damage. He was charged with aggravated assault, reports KTMS.
Road Rage Videos Are Common On Social Media
Road rage videos are fairly common on social media platforms across the internet. Yet, there are not a lot that show the aftermath. A lot of the time, if the altercation escalates too far, police are called. Drivers have, in fact, been arrested and charged for road rage in the United States. However, the altercation has to be pretty serious.
At least social media got a kick out of the situation and was able to enjoy the New Jersey man’s funny commentary. As for the man in the blue car, maybe he had somewhere to be in a hurry. However, that doesn’t excuse his behavior. Hopefully, he can take this situation as a lesson and act appropriately the next time he gets behind the wheel of a car.
