Noticed News is committed to accurate, fair, and transparent coverage. This page outlines the standards our team follows in researching, writing, and publishing every story on our site.
Our Standards
Accuracy first. Every story is fact-checked against original sources before publication. When we cover claims, quotes, or events, we verify them against primary sources — official statements, published interviews, records, or firsthand accounts — whenever possible. When a detail can’t be independently confirmed, we say so clearly in the story rather than presenting it as fact.
Sourcing and attribution. When our coverage builds on prior reporting from other outlets, we credit those sources clearly and link to them. We do not present another outlet’s original reporting as our own.
Original value. We aim to add something beyond a summary of existing coverage to every story we publish — additional context, analysis, historical background, or a perspective not found elsewhere.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it. Corrections are made promptly, and for significant factual errors, we note the correction at the bottom of the article along with the date it was made. We do not silently edit published stories to hide a mistake.
Bylines and accountability. Every story is attributed to the writer who reported and wrote it. Our masthead, with contact information for each team member, is publicly listed on our About Us page.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial decisions are made independently of advertisers, sponsors, or any outside party. Advertising and sponsored content, if published, will always be clearly labeled as such and will never influence our editorial coverage.
Use of AI Tools
Our team may use AI-assisted tools to support research, drafting, and editing. All published content is reviewed, fact-checked, and finalized by our named human staff before it goes live. AI is a tool in our process — it does not replace editorial judgment or accountability.
