Noticed News respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users and contributors to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated agent below.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on Noticed News infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent that includes the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including its location on our Site (a URL is sufficient)
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf

Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:
- Review the claim
- Remove or disable access to the material identified as infringing, if the notice is valid
- Notify the content’s author/contributor, if applicable
Counter-Notification
If you believe material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., any judicial district in which Noticed News may be found)

Repeat Infringers
Noticed News reserves the right to remove content and take appropriate action against contributors who are found to be repeat infringers of others’ copyrights.
Attribution and Fair Use
Noticed News strives to properly credit and link to original sources when referencing other outlets’ reporting. If you believe your work has been used beyond fair use without proper attribution, please contact us directly before filing a formal DMCA notice — many concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
